Calculate attendance percentage and determine classes needed to reach your target. Free online attendance tracker for students.
The attendance calculator helps students track their class attendance percentage and determine how many more classes they need to attend to meet minimum requirements (typically 75% in most institutions). It also calculates how many classes can be safely missed while maintaining the required percentage.
Attendance % = (Classes Attended ÷ Total Classes) × 100 | Classes Needed = ceil(Target% × Total) - AttendedThe attendance percentage is the ratio of attended classes to total classes. To find classes needed for a target, multiply the target percentage by total classes, subtract classes already attended, and round up. The "can miss" value calculates how many absences are possible while staying above the threshold.
| Input | Output |
|---|---|
| 85 attended out of 100 total | 85.00% | Missed: 15 | Can miss 6 more for 75% |
| 60 attended out of 80 total | 75.00% | Exactly at 75% threshold |
| 50 attended out of 75 total | 66.67% | Need 7 more for 75% |
